Asian skin doesn’t crack and when it does, Fall & Winter are in full effect drying it out like the Mojave Desert. There’s a plethora of skincare to choose from on the menu. Which one should you go with to remedy your skin situation? Enter TATCHA. Inspired by Japanese skincare rituals, their naturally-derived products help achieve that healthy, glowing complexion we all wish for. Like food, I’m very mindful as to what I put in my body, let alone on my skin. The determining factor for me is INGREDIENTS. The less ingredients, the better. The more natural, the less worry. It could be $1 or $100, but if I can try a sample before buying the full-size, then it’s a sure bet! Sephora has been releasing 2017 holiday sets and lo and behold, TATCHA comes out with a 4-piece set called ‘Skincare for Makeup Lovers Obento Box’. I ordered it without hesitation and just like a kid in an ice cream shop, I could not wait to have it in my hands and indulge.
|TATCHA Skincare Obento Box|
Here is my experience with this skincare goodness:
A beautifully curated obento box in purple/lavender ombres and classic holiday imagery previews a feast for all! Parallel to it’s name, obento, the presentation is artful and eye-catching. There are four compartments in the box and each one holds a healthy delight for your skin.

Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
Very light and refreshing. This mist feels wonderful and it hydrates my skin. I use it especially for reviving my makeup which gives it a subtle radiant glow.
The Water Cream
A flash of delight. I love the little Tiffany blue jar! My skin absorbs this cream very well as it’s instantly moisturizing. It’s not greasy at all. I’ve also noticed my pores getting smaller.

Violet-C Radiance Mask
Nourishing. At first application, I felt a tingly sensation. It washes off without any residue leaving me with soft, silky skin. I’ve noticed some diminished fine lines and smaller pores. Major thumbs up for the purple ube hue!
|TATCHA Gold Spun Camellia Lip Balm|
Gold Spun Camellia Lip Balm
Noms! The citrusy smell is dee-lish! I love the gold flakes and the packaging. Unfortunately, it underperformed for me as my lips felt really dry 😦
The struggle has been real trying to combat some of my skin issues and I’ve used everything in the book. I’ve also reached a point in my early 30’s where I’m wanting to take preventive measures on anti-aging. TATCHA seems to answer all of that and then some with this bundled sampler set. At a guilt-free price, it’s a skincare treat with a host of moisturizing heroes that’s truly worth it. This is a must-have if you want to look and feel fantastic for the holiday season! You can purchase it at Sephora.com for $59 USD.
